Addiction is a family disease, so I work with the whole system instead of one person in isolation. I specialize in couples affected by substance abuse and trauma using Imago, EMDR, and IFS, and as a Marine Corps veteran I bring that same persistence to the work.

About Austin
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and Wisconsin and a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Quincy University, where I was a student-athlete, and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in couples therapy from Northcentral University, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the therapeutic space.
My professional journey includes serving as a Clinical Director at a behavioral healthcare facility, alongside roles as an intensive outpatient counselor, residential treatment counselor, and family services manager. These experiences have deepened my belief that addiction is a family disease, requiring therapy to address the entire system for sustainable healing.
I specialize in working with couples affected by substance abuse and trauma, using Imago Relationship Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to restore internal balance, mend relationships, and build confidence.
A proud United States Marine Corps veteran and former collegiate basketball player, I carry the values of perseverance and teamwork into my practice.
